Sessions/TV/Theatre

Juliana has extensive experience recording sessions both in the studio and remotely for TV, adverts, film and songs/albums, and has played notated parts for live theatre and opera. She is an extremely competent sight reader, can play from notation, midi parts or can improvise/write her own parts.

Notable past session work has included playing recorders for Disney+ series Renegade Nell, several TV adverts, and playing recorders for the Royal Shakespeare Company (which included recording a CD, a several month run of shows, and a worldwide cinema broadcast). 

She has access to a full range of recorders from sopranino to contrabass, and a collection of professional high and low whistles. She has a professional home recording setup and uses Logic Pro. Please contact her on julianajoyday@gmail.com for bookings.
